LakeSemi active PFC controllers LS2806 / LS2806A are quasi-resonant Boost constant-voltage PFC controllers: full load in critical conduction mode (CRM), automatically folding back to discontinuous mode (DCM) at light load for higher efficiency, valley turn-on with a 500 kHz frequency clamp, power factor >0.95 and THD <10%. Integrated demagnetization detection supports single-winding Boost inductors; built-in line-voltage feedforward and a ±1.5% voltage reference; light-load frequency foldback plus Burst mode drives standby losses to a minimum. Protections cover VDD OVP/UVLO, BOP, UVP, dual-level OVP, cycle-by-cycle OCP, AOCP, OTP and pin open/short. The LS2806 additionally offers Boost Follower dual-level output voltage for extra efficiency across wide input ranges.
